It’s the last day of the year. Has twenty-ten been a good year for you? . Today would be a great day to reflect on things that happened this year. Very soon twenty-eleven will arrive, a brand new year and a brand new start. Abandon all your lost hopes, dreams and unhappy scenario that are in your mind this year to welcome the brand new year in afresh. Hope this would bring a great lift start for the year.

Oh yes, a new year also means an older me. That isn’t awesome.

For the past few weeks, I have been editing a few sets of video for my church’s countdown party. It’s really a rush since normally I only spend a few hours editing video. Fortunately, I manage to upgrade to Adobe CS5 in time for the work. It’s really much speedier compared to CS4 with the help of its new features and native 64bit software design , things are working pretty well now. I guess I wouldn’t be able to complete it without upgrading the software.

Since the day when holiday starts, my ‘body clock’ is totally disrupted. Waking up in the morning as early as 4am then went back to sleep at 7am.3 hours later woke up again, lasted till 12am then back to bed. Isn’t it screwed? Most people face this problem due to Jetlag. Yet I’m experiencing it at home. Cool...

Christmas is around the corner. In fact it’s tomorrow! Christmas day is the estimated date of birth of Jesus Christ. Yet I wonder how the heck some additional characters and figures were created for example Santa Claus and Father Christmas. How are they related to the origin of Christmas? Commercialism has changed the world.

Anyway I have created a short clip wishing all a merry Christmas and a blessed year ahead!

School will be starting very soon. Are you excited about it? I’m certainly not! In just a few more days, life would be back to the same old boring standard schedule. Waking up early for school, completing the demands of teachers and attending uninteresting lessons would be a huge burden and chores once again. They are mainly the obstruction of providing a joyful day at school, which hasn’t happen to my school life for years.

Preparation for school reopen is current 0%. I haven’t even bought the books for next year! There isn’t any homework during this holiday since we had just completed N level. But I’m sure that one day we will have to compensate it once school reopens again :(

Hope that secondary 5 would not be a year of misery and total wretchedness :)

The day that many of us awaits for the moment of our fate and truth regarding the path that we will be moving on to on our education life after secondary four this year ,has arrived. I can feel the strong nervousness atmosphere wholly throughout the quiet hall at the moment when I stepped into it, late as expected. Everyone was sited down quietly in rows waiting for the release of results while listening to some crappy speech that goes along with it. Was pretty disappointed with my results overall, didn’t manage to achieve top 3 in position this time. But after all, I still manage to get promoted to secondary five!

The class video has been released today too. Early birds that liked KngjqProductions’ Facebook page would be able to find the unnamed and untagged video during this morning on their news feed. It was then temporary removed from the page to bring more excitement and stronger emotional outbreak when it is released again after the collection of N level results. In the end, my impish plan works :)

It’s quite a gloomy and glum day after all. Many dejected expression came out on the faces of my close classmates that couldn’t be promoted , causing my day to be unpleasant and depressed after all as we will be moving ahead in different paths , separated from our standard routine at school together and the times we had together. That’s why I always will try to do my best on every class video to use it as a memento on our times, companionship and friendship together at school. May we still be in touch through the help of the majestic internet tools, good bye Qtss 4F 2010. May we be history.

Yea was supposedly to be intensely busy due to some volunteering roles for my upcoming church’s countdown party. However, many resources and assignment that requires my part to play are either pushed back or removed. The initial plans have been modified over and over again till I don’t really know what’s going on. Gonna wait for further notice and instructions in order to continue my works and plans.

N level results will be releasing this Friday. From many of my friend’s Facebook status , the nervous atmosphere has really risen these few days since everyone of us are pondering over and over again since the N level has ended , whether we are able to make it into secondary 5 next year or a desired choice of course in ITE. I seriously hate collecting the results this Friday not because of the nervousness in results but the hate of the requirement demanded by the school that requires all students to collect their results in proper school attire. That sucks!

Oh yes, and by the way. My class video will be release to the internet this Friday too after my collection of N level results. Therefore please watch it and provide some interesting feedbacks or suggest regarding the video and how to improve it. New video projects are coming in soon next week; it’s time to get busy then. However, my computer doesn’t seem to welcome it yet since there isn’t enough hard disk space available to welcome the new projects in. Therefore, today shall be the day of computer cleans up; since I haven’t reformatted my computer for more than a year.

I started uninstalling a massive number of useless programs, deletion of crap videos, junk files and cleaning the system registry as a start. Among all the massive data and junks, I came across an old video I filmed with my lousy phone’s camera, as you can see, a guitar cover of hillsong’s tell the world. It’s a Christian song that I guess has impacted many believers, check it out!

Nowadays, my appetite isn’t as great as in the past where I could really gobble and devour ravenously the meals daily with television turned on. Now, finishing a simple meal would be a problem sometimes and I would need about an hour to finish the meal with television turned on :) hahaa! Looks like I will never be fat! It’s not a good thing to be fat too anyway. So yea, fltecherizing meals slowly might be a problem for me during army days.

Finally rendered out the class video after 79hours, then, realized that there are new mistakes made while doing some adjustment in the previous draft. This project has already drained many days away from all the rendering and editing required. However, I’m sure that not all of my classmates would appreciate the videos produced too anyway. Wouldn’t bother to remove the mistakes this time since time has been tight and it would require days of rendering, till then, please don’t mind the mistakes made such as some weird lights appearing while watching the video.

The schedule for the next few weeks of December would be damn tight and packed with church events since we have arrived into the month of Christmas and the final month of the year, more video projects have been thrown to me this month too as well. So currently, I would have 6 video projects on hand on. Each with different due dates as well as the day to start , it would be a total rush since I would be only given a few days or a week to complete one project at a time.

Yep, the ‘open book’ problem for the class video has found its solution after days of googling for answers and experimenting with different ways of rendering. Now back on track! I hope :)

Its December already, Christmas is coming. That also means that the year is coming to an end, pretty soon it would be 2011, a brand new year as well as a brand new start. To me, the setting of the scene as well as the programs during the last countdown party still circulate in my mind like as if that event just happen a few days ago. That was really an unforgettable night last year at church.

So how is the creation of the class video, you might ask, well if you were from my class you would. The scene of the video starts with an aged old looking book that is supposed to be flipped open when the camera zoomed in displaying some random sentences of my thoughts of the video itself as a simple placeholder decoration then zoomed upwards half a page that shows a picture that is taped onto the page, the picture is of course the full class photo that is heavily photoshopped to include absentees such as myself.

However, the main issue now is that, I couldn’t render out the book somehow. After effects does not show or display any kinds of error log , just a simple ‘fail’ on the render status .Hope that this problem would be solved as soon as possible or I think I might have to move back the release dates of the class video :(
