My room
nearly got burned today.
Recently, my
mum went to tidy up my room since she has a high expectation of cleanliness in
the house. Also, she unknowingly moved a wire under my chair. Thus, when I came
back home, all worn-out from the dreadful day at school, I sat on the chair
which I usually do, and the wire broke. Unfortunately, that is the wire that I
usually used it to charge my phone.
Here’s the
scary part. Initially, I was hesitant to use the wire to charge my phone since
its plastic outer protection layer has been cut opened. But, I stupidly decided
to give it a try. When I plug the wire into my phone and turned on the power,
smoke appeared from the damaged area. I went to take a closer look and in less
than a second, flame and sparks of fire started to burn the internal parts of
the cable. Immediately, I turn off the power switch, and my fan extinguishes
the flame within a second.
Indeed,
that was a pretty frightening experience. I wonder what catastrophe would happen
if I went to charge my phone before going to bed since I usually do so. Thank
God.

This
morning, I had a great time playing soccer with my fellow classmates. Although
I do not play soccer much often, but I will always play with my classmates whenever
PE lessons allow so. Personally, I feel that soccer is a great exercise for me.
Also, I chose to play soccer instead of others since it mostly depends more on
your teamwork and not only your skill. Moreover, I would be able to bond with
the impish boys of my class, which we don’t really talk much often during
lesson times since I’m seated at the back of the class, with girls.
Unfortunately, my team lost the match today with a wide gap in score. But at
least, we all did perspire.
Anyway recently,
I came across this interesting Android game that I found in some Korean web
store. Basically, its gameplay is similar to the famous, high agile demanding
music rhythm game when I played when I was in primary school, O2Jam. But this
game has more visual effects added to it, and featured mostly K-pop songs. It has
lots of pretty cool functions such as sliding your fingers instead of tapping
them to hit the notes - which I believe it is not available for other musical
instrumental games. That flexibility of the game play took full advantage of
having a multi-touch screen. Unfortunately, this game is not available in the
Android Market. Personally, I felt that that’s quite a silly move made by the
game developers for not uploading their game to the Android Market as it will definitely
get popular within days since the game was quite well done. But maybe, there
are other factors which hindered them to do so, I will never know.

Thank God, miracles
do happen in desperate times.
My PSP’s
buttons were damaged since a few months ago as I have always played DJ MAX on
it, which is a music rhythm game that demands great speed and quantity with
regards to smashing of buttons, ever since I have purchased it. That’s the main
reason I guess that why almost all the buttons on my PSP are not working very
well. Moreover, the R trigger button has not been working at all since I have
last fixed my PSP’s screen last year.
Fortunately,
when I decided to power up my PSP once again to check out some of the games my
friends were talking about, I realized that the button was fixed, miraculously.
I was ecstatic about it of course, and began to try out the old games that I
couldn’t play previously due to the malfunctioning button. Surprisingly, it
worked well, with no problems derived. God works in wonders indeed.

This week
had been a terrible week for me. Many unexpected situations occurred untimely
that made me dumbfounded and gloomy throughout the week. I don’t feel like
eliciting these unhappy experiences here on this blog; I would feel terrible
again if I do so.
I have temporarily
close down KngjqProductions. I guess that most likely, it will reopen when I
feel that the time has come. I don’t feel like inducing the reason here too.
Let’s just take it as it is because of personal reasons.
Hope that I
will be a good sleep for the next few days, without any worries ahead of me.

Yesterday
night, I had a wonderful time watching a magic show at the Esplanade theatre together
with my friends. It’s a great experience to the Esplanade since I have not been
there for more than 5 years or so. Overall, the show was pretty mediocre to me
despite the good critics by my friends. Personally, I feel that there are still
lots of room for improvement – such as the creativity wise, effects wise, and
timing wise.
It makes me
pretty uncomfortable watching the show because of the factors that are hindering
its true potential. Maybe I am extremely picky regarding the performances, but
the show could have been near perfect, or a lot better with just a few minor
changes in the setting as well as the details. But at least the ticket, that
worth about $82, is a gift from a friend. So I guess that I shouldn’t complain
more and just enjoy what it has to offer.
In addition
to today’s performance, we managed to catch a glimpse of the NDP rehearsal –
mainly the part where they fire the cannons- since it is held near the
Esplanade. The firing sound was extraordinary and strikingly loud. Since no
warnings or signs were given when the first shot was fired, almost everyone got
a shock. There were even some dramatic girls in the crowd that screamed in
terror. But it’s a great experience since this is the first time I managed to
hear the firing sounds made by the cannons during NDP. Hope that in the future,
I would have more opportunity to these events.

Hey guys! Recently,
I created this online event whereby viewers will be able to send over their
photos taken during certain school events such as the upcoming sports day. Hope
that this plan would be a success as most of the photographs I used in the past
few videos are from the same few people. In addition, I hope I will be able to
collect some video clips or footage this time so that in my next few upcoming
videos, I may be able to include some video clips. Do check out the poster at
the side for more information - click it to enlarge!
At times I
really wondered, what is the point of attending school when most of the
teachers that are supposed to teach the class didn’t turn up. For example, today,
my class only had PE and English lessons that worth an hour each. However, we
spent about 9 hours at school, including the time wasted on traveling - that’s
so not worthwhile. I believe that that would be the main reason why most of the
students, including me, are not attending school regularly. They would rather
spend the time studying at home in their own comfort than coming to school, in a
restricted environment to study.
Currently,
I believe that my prelim papers are marked wrongly. However, since most of the
teachers that are supposed to have lessons with us didn’t turn up, I couldn’t
check with them whether that is so. That made me pretty upset and uneasy about
it because I’m afraid that the DPA application would reject me due to my unglamorous
prelim grades. Moreover, I feel like giving up my humanities because of the
terrible grade I obtained. Hope that my DPA application would look more towards
my talent and interest rather than my grades. But that’s unlikely since in
Singapore, where the education system is flawed and all about grades, nothing
else matters more.

I really
hate being tired at times, especially in inappropriate times. Whenever I’m
tired, I would be extremely mad and irritated when I have been disturbed by my
friends or when my friend is talking to me. Therefore most likely, I would not
talk or reply to my friends’ conversation and just give a weary smile because I’m
too exhausted and lazy to even speak. But sometimes, I will try my best to
overcome the tiredness and respond to you. However, I believe that many of my
friends dislike my flippant attitude towards when I ignored them.
Even today,
I got annoyed and mad when one of my friends disturbed me. I’m not sure why I
got so worn out immediately when lesson starts after recess. This has been
happening since the past few years and it is getting more often these days. At
times, I do try to control my own temper and attitude toward others. However,
at times I’m really too worn out to even care. This often leads to some
misunderstanding between me and my friends.
Hope that
my friends would read my blog and understand that I am not ignoring them on
purpose. I guess that I will have to fix this problem before the O level oral
examinations. Otherwise, I am dead.

Recently,
one of my friends introduced to me a new Android game called Stardunk, which is
available to iOS devices too, during one of the boring lessons at school during
the weekdays. Ever since I played that game, I am totally hooked to it. Not to
be sarcastic but, I was nearly late for school the next day due to this
extremely addictive game.
The
gameplay is basically to shoot a ball into a rocket-like basketball hoop. But
with the bonus, as well as the wide variety of balls, which each have unique
features to choose from, the game became impossibly boring. In addition, there is
contest, which is a online competition between players from around the world,
every few minutes. That made the game play very challenging and fun. Although
each round of contest last for about 2minutes, you will end up playing it for
about an hour because it is extremely addictive.
Moreover, you can earn SP,
which is the currency for the game, to upgrade your balls or purchase other
themes of the game.
If you are
planning to download this game, or have already played it, do enter my Starcode
: fad. This way, both of us will be able to receive 500 SP for free. It’s a
win-win situation yea? Haha.
Anyway, I
did Singapore proud once okay :)
