I felt
extremely frustrated and disappointed of myself today during the O level
science practical examination. I don’t know why I have made so many mistakes
that are avoidable. Maybe I was too nervous to think properly the steps to take
in order, or that’s my ability. After today’s examination, I felt that all my
hope of achieving an A1 for science is all over.
I know that
I got many of the questions answered wrongly since I compared my answers with
my teachers after the exam. In fact, most of them are wrong. Practical
examinations are really challenging and difficult for me. Indeed, my hopes had
been dashed unless some miracle happens. But I believe that I would still be
able to enter the course that I wanted to go to in polytechnic.
I really
hope that my English and Humanities wouldn’t screw up then. If not, I’m really
in deep shit.

This will
be a pretty random and boring post. But hey, let me just update my blog with my
thoughts.
It has been
almost a year since I bought the Galaxy Tab from Singtel. Honestly speaking, I
did not regret making this choice over the HTC Desire HD which I wanted a year
ago initially. Although at times it has been pretty inconvenient for me to
bring this huge phone out, I’m pretty used to it now.
Today, I
decided to take the risk and flash in the MIUI Beta Rom, a new ROM for Android
mobile phones that has been pretty popular for the past few months. It wasn’t
the first time I flash a custom ROM for my Galaxy Tab. But this ROM is a port
over from other systems. For that reason, I’m pretty worried that something might
happen to my phone.
Fortunately,
nothing terrible happen although certain default features of the Galaxy Tab
were not available in the custom ROM such as the ability to use the front
facing camera since different system have different settings for the front
facing cameras. But for that, I have gained a few new functions for my phone
too. One of the new functions which I extremely liked is the call-recording
function in the ROM. Even though I haven’t tried it, but I believe that it
would be pretty cool. It’s a trade-off for certain features indeed. But I like
it.
Another
fantastic feature which I liked a lot is the speed. Despite the fact that I
didn’t overclock my Galaxy Tab, everything seemed so smooth: mainly the home
screen, browser and the camera. I love it. In fact, I believe that I would be
able to under clock my tablet to about 800Hz to save more battery!
I hope that
in the future, there would be more features available for my tablet. Alright,
back to study for O level!

Today, I
have officially graduated from Queenstown Secondary School.
Indeed, it’s
a sad and woebegone day. Today will be the last day that my friends and I have
the opportunity to take photographs together in our uniform. After our O levels,
we will all proceed on to different pathways of life. We might not have the
opportunity to meet each other in the future too!
These five
years has been memorable for me. Over the years, I have gained lots of
different types of friends, experiences and joyous moments. As I contemplate on
the ecstatic moments of my secondary school journey, it made me feel
heavyhearted. The videos that I have created regarding the moments at school
have really become a great memento for me. Certainly, I enjoyed my secondary
school’s life unlike my primary school’s terrible moments.
I remembered that initially, I wanted to enter Bukit Merah Secondary School with a T-score
of 156. However since my mum’s stall is directly opposite from the school, I
have chosen Queenstown Secondary. At first when I entered the school, I was
disgusted by its poor infrastructures. Even now, I strongly believe that my
primary school has much better facilities than my secondary school! But with
such terrible PSLE score, I should be glad and fortunate to enter QTSS. In
fact, my score was exactly the minimum score required to enter to the normal
stream!
My
secondary one life has been pretty stressful. Not because of studying, but
because of my teachers. During those days, I always didn’t submit my
assignments and never failed to sleep during lessons. Also, I had to stay back almost every single
day just to meet the demands of my teachers. That made me feels pretty
sickening as I feel that it became a hindrance on my Maplestory and Runescape training
schedules. Even after completing all those assignments, I have been failing
almost all my subjects. My level ranking was always the top 10 from the bottom.
Despite of that, I have met many interesting friends. We hang out together, chill, play
online games together until late midnight and just had lots of fun. Those were
the carefree and joyous moments I had.
Things
started to change when I have been promoted to Secondary three. That was the
year whereby I officially quitted playing Maplestory. Also at secondary three,
I was separated from my hard-core gaming friends, due to the different subjects
we have chosen, and met a new group of friends. Initially, everyone was like
stranger to each other since we were from different classes. However, we
started to communicate and had lots of madness moments together very soon.
Very soon N
level passed, and some of my classmates proceeded on to different institutions.
That was one day which I felt miserably unhappy since I know that I wouldn’t be
able to see some of my friends next year.
In a blink
of an eye, Secondary 5 is over too. Very soon the Memories at Queenstown
Secondary School by KngjqProductions video series that I have been producing since secondary one will come to an end. Hope that in the future, I
will still be able to meet up with my friends.
Lastly, I would like to thank all the teachers that
have taught me over the years. I sincerely appreciate their patience for me. And all the best to my classmates for their O level examinations! Study hard!

Yes, I have
just updated KngjqProductions’ website into a whole new look. Check it out! Please
feel free to explore the whole website yourself. I don’t wish to type in the
features in this blog post. But maybe the main features…
Firstly,
the website now featured my mobile apps: Android’s and Ovi’s. Thus, please
download the apps if you own any mobile phone that is running those platforms!
Thank you very much :) As of this date, these are the only two mobile platforms
that have KngjqProdcutions’ mobile app. Maybe after the O levels, I would
create an app for the other mobile phone platforms too. But so far, I think that
these two apps are sufficient. After all, I’m not running any big businesses.
Also, the website
now featured a much clearer description of the category of video series that I
have been creating. I strongly believe that this would be able to clear any
doubt that you might have. Do check it out! It’s under the ABOUT tab.
Finally,
there are a few striking flash banners around the website. For me, I believe
that it would beautify the website. Don’t you agree?
These are
the few features that are available in the new designed website. Maybe in the
future, I would expand the website. For example, I might include in a new F.A.Q
tab where I post some of the commonly asked questions about KngjqProductions.

It’s the
last three days of school, and I can’t believe it that I untimely overslept for
school today.
Both of my
alarm clocks, my mobile phone and my alarm clock, did ring strikingly loud.
However, I have no idea why I thought that today is Sunday. Also, I was feeling
extremely exhausted. Thus, I gave in to my temptation and fell back to sleep.
Ugh. Looks like I’m going to miss some precious English lesson today. Hope that
my teachers will not be teaching any important stuff today. Unfortunately, I
believe that they will. Damn it.
Anyway, I
will be updating KngjqProductions’ website into a new, professional-looking
design. The current design always seems to take most of the space out. Also,
the website itself doesn’t have much content in it. Here’s a preview on one of
the tabs in the new designed website!

It’s down
to the last week of my secondary school life. Time passed extremely fast
this year. Maybe it’s because of the number of free periods that I have this year that made time moved so quickly that I didn’t even perceive it. Not to
mention that graduation day is just a few days away, I would certainly miss the
teachers that have taught me over the years patiently and the friends that
really cared for me.
That day
would definitely be a sad and emotional day as well as a transition day for me
to move on to higher education levels. For me, all I can do now is to cherish
the time left as a secondary school student and enjoy the presence of my teachers and friends before graduating.

It’s sad
that the world has lost other genius. Why do most geniuses die so quickly?
Although I’m
not really a fan of Apple and had never liked using the iPhone, it is still a
pity that the world has lost a great inventor. To me, he simplifies the
technology world, allowing people from all walks of life to have powerful
devices yet easy to use. For example, the iPhone and Macs are extremely simple
devices that even a child will be able to use it like a pro. In just a few
clicks, you will be able to get your task done, allowing faster productivity
for many. Indeed, this simplicity of how phone works has attracted many likings
around the world.
Steve has
created many fancy designs looking computers too. When I was still studying in
primary school, the iMac G3 caught my eyes. That is the first Macintosh
computer that I had ever used and encountered. It aroused my attention mainly
because of its unique looking shape and transparent back body which allows me
to see the internal parts of the computer; unlike the usual PC computers which
are sealed in a huge box. This just shows how amazing his creativity can be in
designing.
The world has just lost a visionary and an extraordinary
person.

Recently, I
came across this camera called Sony DSC-HX9V. Despite it being a compact
camera, it has wonderful features and takes extremely good DSLR quality
pictures. Although it is a bit pricy, I’m planning to make a purchase of this
camera after O levels.
First of
all, it is able to take videos in full HD quality 60p. That’s extremely useful
for me since I have always wanted to good video camera to enhance some of my
videos that I have been producing. For example, instead of flooding my videos
with photographs taken at the events, I could include some video footage too
with this camera! Without doubt, this camera would be a great additional tool
for me for my upcoming videos that I have planned to produce. It will
definitely be a great breakthrough for my videos.

Also, it
has GPS function which would be useful for my upcoming Australia trip. Indeed, I
will be taking lots of photographs during the trip and the GPS function would
be exceptionally useful as it would be able to tag the location of where the
photographs were taken. The lack of GPS functionality in some cameras irritates
me too. For example, during my Malaysia geography trip earlier this month, I do
not know exactly where the pictures were taken. Thus, all my photographs were
in a mess while creating the video for the geography trip as I’m not sure where
the photographs were taken and how should I caption and categories them.
Therefore, it would be pretty useful for me to know where the pictures were
taken.
Other
function which I fancy would be the panoramic sweep. Although there are some digital
imaging software available to combine photographs together into a panoramic
view, wouldn’t it be much simpler and an ease to capture a wonderful view in
panoramic sweep instantly? It totally captures the beauty of sceneries in a
wide, flat picture. This is one of the amazing features that I like about this
camera.
Unfortunately,
it is pretty costly. I’m not sure whether I should wait for the next IT fair to
make my purchase there or I should simply purchase it from the sony store at a
pretty painful and expensive price. Hope that it comes with certain bundles or
free gifts such as the memory card or a tripod. But I doubt so it will.

I guess
that you will be able to infer what most of the videos will be about by looking
at their titles. But try guessing the contents for the final video that I will
be producing from the list above. That video would be the final video to mark
an end to the Memories of Qtss video montage series that I have been producing
since 2007. It would certainly be a video that I will be looking forward to
since it’s the final video being produced for this long series.
Tears would
certainly crawl out from my eyes while I’m producing Memories of Qtss 2007-2011
and Memories of Qtss Secondary 5 as scenes of the joyous and ecstatic moments during
these five years of my secondary school life flooded my mind. It is terrifying
to know that graduation day is just around the corner. Soon, it would be the
start of the O level examination. And afterwards, my classmates and I would
head off in separate ways. Producing these final two videos would be a painful
and sorrow process indeed. After all, I’m an extremely emotional person, not
emo – I love myself okay! Don’t be mistaken.
Honestly
speaking, I have no idea on what to do about my video production branding,
KngjqProductions, after I have graduated from secondary school. Should I start
other series regarding my life in polytechnic? Or should I start producing some
bass, guitar or piano covers of songs that I have been playing in the past few
years. It’s a blurry road ahead. I guess that it will take some time to uncover
this mist ahead of my life. For now, let me continue doing my English ten year
series. Urgh.
